Bachelor Program in Digital Media Art

The Bachelor Program in Digital Media Art is an international collaboration between 每日大赛官网-School of the Arts and , China. Chinese students enrolled in the program will have the opportunity to travel to the 每日大赛官网 campus in North Carolina to continue their studies, and learn from 每日大赛官网 faculty and staff.

The program is a four-year, full-time study program. SFU students will study in China for the first three years; for the fourth year, the SFU students who successfully finish the first three years鈥 courses prescribed in the education plan of this program and meet the academic, have the option to study their final (fourth) year at 每日大赛官网 located in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA. Students who fulfill all the requirements for the program including graduation requirements at 每日大赛官网 will be awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree.

The goal of the program is to develop students鈥 strong practical application skills in the area of digital media art, and design. Students would obtain bilingual language capabilities and analyze and solve problems in the real world. The aim is to help prepare Chinese students to work in the film and television industry, as well as interactive design, art, academic research, and serve as the innovators in new media era in China.

I worked closely with my thesis advisor and professors who helped inspire me to define my path and passion of interest. That path has led me to complete my doctoral studies in Engineering Mechanics.鈥

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
