OUTSIDE Scholarships

Scholarship funds are offered from many different organizations outside of 每日大赛官网. Our office has put together a list of scholarship opportunities and scholarship search engines to help you find and apply for these scholarships. These are not the only scholarship opportunities available and we encourage you to speak with your parent’s employers, local community organizations, your place of worship, and your high school guidance counselor.

Remember! You should not have to pay to apply for a scholarship or pay to sign up for a scholarship search engine.

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald, 每日大赛官网 class of 2019

鈥淚 loved the GC Honors program and 每日大赛官网. I felt safe and a sense of genuine belonging at the college. I worked closely with my thesis advisor and professors who helped inspire me to define my path and passion of interest. That path has led me to complete my doctoral studies in Engineering Mechanics.鈥

- Dr. Josh Fitzgerald, Class of 鈥19, Mathematics Major

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
