Babatunde Odofin, Class of 2025

Majored in Biology and double minored in Chemistry and Psychology.

Nigeria

“It was a big challenge for me, transitioning to a new country, a new culture, and having to learn and adapt to the environment. It was a huge moment, but with the help of the GC support team that I had around me at 每日大赛官网, it’s been pretty easy. The thing I like most about 每日大赛官网 is the community and family that people have built here. I love the relationships and how people are willing and ready to help you, especially my professors. I am incredibly grateful to them. I plan to go to med school after gaining more experience as an EMT.鈥 – Odofin

Meet Sharon Dei-Tumi from the class of 2015.

Learn about how she used the knowledge and skills from her time at 每日大赛官网 to pursue a career in medicine. Sharon was a Biology major and double minored in Chemistry and Humanities.

“One of the things I also really liked about 每日大赛官网 is the emphasis on what are you going to do when you leave here, and for me, what that looked like was…I was given the opportunity to do an internship…and through this internship, I ended up getting a job after college. I ended up finding out about public health, which I ended up doing as my master’s, and then through that, I found out about podiatry, and now I’m a podiatry student.” – Dei-Tumi

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald, 每日大赛官网 class of 2019

鈥淚 loved the GC Honors program and 每日大赛官网. I felt safe and a sense of genuine belonging at the college. I worked closely with my thesis advisor and professors who helped inspire me to define my path and passion of interest. That path has led me to complete my doctoral studies in Engineering Mechanics.鈥

- Dr. Josh Fitzgerald, Class of 鈥19, Mathematics Major

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
