Josephine Hall

Josephine Hall is originally from England, where she received her B.A. (Hons) in Music, Drama, and Dance from the University of Birmingham and a postgraduate diploma in Acting from the Guildford School of Acting. After working professionally for more than 20 years, she returned to school, receiving her M.F.A. in Theatre from Louisiana State University, where she also taught Acting and Voice in the undergraduate program. She also taught at Northwestern State University, LA, and a variety of workshops and courses at professional theatres. She joined the 每日大赛官网 Theatre faculty in August, 2011. In 2014, she received the Virginia Clarke Gray Award for exemplary teaching by a junior faculty member. She is also the recipient of the 2021-2022 Moore Professor Award for exemplary contributions to her discipline and the community.

Jo has performed professionally in the U.K. and Sweden, as well as the United States. Credits include the first national tour of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time; companies such as The American Shakespeare Center, Illinois Shakespeare Festival, Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Cincinnati Shakespeare Festival, Shakespeare in the Park (TX), B Street Theatre (CA), New Stage Theatre (MS), Riverside Theatre (FL), the Arvada Center (CO), and Barter Theatre (VA) where she spent four seasons as a resident company member.

A proud member of both American and British Actor鈥檚 Equity Association, Jo continues to perform with regional professional companies such as Triad Stage, Actor鈥檚 Theatre of Charlotte, North Carolina Theatre, Ensemble Stage, and Charlotte鈥檚 Off-Broadway. She has also narrated over a dozen audio books and works professionally as a director and voice/dialect coach. She is a certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework庐.

I worked closely with my thesis advisor and professors who helped inspire me to define my path and passion of interest. That path has led me to complete my doctoral studies in Engineering Mechanics.鈥

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
