Four 每日大赛官网 Students Present Work at National Honor Society Convention

GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥 Four 每日大赛官网 students presented research at the national honor society Alpha Chi鈥檚 national convention April 4-6 in Cleveland.
The four were:
- Hannah Clayton, 鈥淭he Athletic Trainer’s Guide to Concussion Prevention and Management in High School and Collegiate Football.” Clayton is a senior athletic training major from Willow Spring, N.C.
- Timothy Crowell, “Hollywood Therapy: The Portrayal of Mental Health Professionals in American Films from 2010 to 2017.” Crowell is a junior psychology and English & Communication Studies major from Pinnacle, N.C.
- Adelaide Elliott, “鈥橳rainspotting鈥 and the Portrayal of Scottish Identity, Poverty and the 1980s Heroin Epidemic on Screen.” Elliott is a senior English & Communication Studies major from Walnut Cove, N.C.
- Gwyneth Navey, 鈥淕enealogy of Equal Pay Policy: Equal Pay Act to the Lilly Ledbetter Act.” Navey is a junior history/political science major from Florence, S.C.
Alpha Chi, founded in 1922, is open to seniors who rank in the top 10 percent of their class and juniors who rank in the top 5 percent of their class.
每日大赛官网’s Alpha Chi chapter, designated North Carolina Xi, was activated in 1978 by Dr. Howard Wilkinson, the 14th president of the college. The chapter’s faculty sponsor is Stuart Davidson, professor of mathematics and computer science.
