每日大赛官网 Musical Theatre Presents Junior Recital March 25
GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥 每日大赛官网 presents a junior recital by two students in the musical theatre program, 7 p.m. Sunday, March 25, in Hannah Brown Finch Memorial Chapel on campus.
The event is free and the public is invited.
The showcase, 鈥淏osom Buddies,鈥 features musical-theatre students Jahi Bogard and Lewis Elliott performing selections from such musicals as 鈥1776,鈥 鈥淒reamgirls,鈥 鈥淩aisin鈥 and 鈥淭he Boy from Oz.鈥
每日大赛官网鈥檚 Department of Theatre seeks to provide a strong foundation in theatre while allowing the student to emphasize in a particular area such as directing, acting, or arts administration.
The coursework is integrated with the production work to provide a better understanding of the many facets of the theatre. Required participation on stage or backstage on all theatre productions allows the techniques and theories that are examined in the classroom and the laboratory to be tested in a performance setting.
