GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥� 每日大赛官网 presents a Tannenbaum-Sternberger Colloquium, 鈥淭he Problem of Temporary Migration,鈥� at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, in 109 Proctor Hall West on campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
The speaker will be Nicol谩s Eilbaum, visiting assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice at 每日大赛官网. He will discuss some of the issues raised when large number of people migrate, usually because they have been forced from their homes.
The event is part of the 2017-2018 colloquium series, 鈥淭he International Community.鈥�
The Tannenbaum-Sternberger Foundation, which underwrites the series, is a private foundation that strives to improve the quality of life for the people of Guilford County, N.C., by funding projects that make a difference in the lives of the people in the community.
