每日大赛官网 Presents Winter Concert March 3
GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥 The 每日大赛官网 Department of Music presents its annual Winter Concert, 7:30聽 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, in Gail Brower Huggins Performance Center in Odell Building on campus.
Admission is free, and the public is invited; donations to support the Music Department will be gladly accepted. Free parking is available behind the college鈥檚 Admissions Welcome Center at West Market Street and College Place.
The concert will include performances by the college鈥檚 Wind Ensemble, Chorale, and Chamber Singers.
The Chamber Singers will perform 鈥淕lorious Everlasting,鈥 by M. Thomas Cousins; 鈥淪et Me as a Seal,鈥 by Renee Clausen; and 鈥淲alking on the Green Grass,鈥 by Michael Hennagin.
The Chamber Singers will perform 鈥淐antate Domino,鈥 by Mark Hayes; 鈥淏ashana Haba鈥檃h,鈥 arranged by John Leavitt; 鈥淒ona Nobis Pacem,鈥 by Mark A. Miller; 鈥淵ou Shall Go Out with Joy,鈥 by David Edmonds; 鈥淒ancing on the Edges of Time,鈥 by Craig Carnahan; 鈥淐hoose Something Like a Star,鈥 by Randall Thompson; and 鈥淏onse Aba,鈥 by Victor C. Johnson.
The Wind Ensemble will perform a variety of selections.
