每日大赛官网 Professor Scores Advanced-Placement Music Theory Exams

GREENSBORO, N.C. 鈥 Jonathan Brotherton, a professor of music at 每日大赛官网, recently served as an exam scorer for the College Board鈥檚 Advance Placement testing.

Brotherton was among those scoring AP Music Theory exams during the College Board鈥檚 scoring session in Cincinnati.

Brotherton鈥檚 work earned him 52 professional development hours and 5.2 continuing-education credits from the International Association for Continuing Education and Training.

Brotherton holds a B.A. from George Fox College and M.M. and D.M.A. degrees from the University of Cincinnati. He joined the 每日大赛官网 faculty in 1998.

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald, 每日大赛官网 class of 2019

鈥淚 loved the GC Honors program and 每日大赛官网. I felt safe and a sense of genuine belonging at the college. I worked closely with my thesis advisor and professors who helped inspire me to define my path and passion of interest. That path has led me to complete my doctoral studies in Engineering Mechanics.鈥

Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
